About

Annie Patterson has been an artist as long as she can remember. One early memory is sitting on her bedroom floor drawing bears in dresses from Richard Scarry's books.

Annie went on to study Visual Communication at the Art Institute of Seattle.
She now lives at northernmost point of Alaska, in a home on the tundra filled to the brim with children's books. Her neighbors include polar bears, snowy owls, arctic fox, and many types of birds in the summertime.

Now the mother of two young children, Annie loves watching them discover the joy of
creating art.
